Got something broken? Join us at St Luke's Church Hall for free repairs to your portable electrical and clothing items you might otherwise throw away.
Due to heavy demand, bookings are limited to one item per person, or one electrical plus one clothing item at a different time. If time permits, we may be able to look at a second, or at least give you a brief assessment.
This event is all about Sustainability — we hope you will learn something about your device, why it broke and possibly even how to fix it yourself another time, or how to choose a more durable replacement. This is why we don't accept devices being dropped off for later collection: we are keen to involve you in the repair!
Fixing slots are typically for 30 minutes, but times can vary; therefore, your booked time is a guide rather than a firm fixing slot. Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits will be available while you wait, and there will be a chance to chat with the hosts and other visitors.
We make no charge for our services, but gratefully accept voluntary donations by cash or (at most events) by card.
