The Prayer Course

We’re coming together for four Thursdays in Lent to do the Prayer Course together, which is a course produced by the good people at 247 Prayer. Join us in the Lower Hall at 7.30 starting Thursday 29th February.

Maundy Thursday Meal

Join us at 7.30pm on Thursday 28th March as we share a simple meal together and remember the Last Supper when Jesus shared a meal with his disciples just before his betrayal.

Good Friday

Good Friday is one of the most significant days in our church life together, so we’re offering two opportunities to come and remember the events of Good Friday this year.

Join us at 2pm for an Hour at the Cross, a service of meditation and contemplation. There will be kids’ activities happening in the upper hall at the same time.

Or if you’re out on Good Friday, there will be a short 30-minute service at 8.30am as well.

Easter All-Age Communion

Hallelujah! He is risen!

Join us at 10am on Easter Day as we celebrate Jesus’ triumph over death together.

(Please note the clocks change on Easter Day too!)

Easter Monday Pilgrimage

We’ll be joining with churches across the diocese and beyond to walk to St Albans Cathedral for an Easter celebration. The communion service will be led by Bishop Jane with music led by Peter Russell, who sometimes leads worship at St Luke’s.

Gather from 12pm at St Luke’s, or join us at the Abbey at 1pm. The service starts at 2.30pm.
